International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG.L, IAG.MC), or IAG, has paid the final cash alternative amount for its outstanding 1.125% senior unsecured convertible bonds due 2028 to bondholders.
As a result, the airline holding company said no bonds remain outstanding as of Thursday, according to a same-day release.
On June 5, IAG gave notice to bondholders to redeem the bonds. The bondholders exercised their conversion rights for all outstanding bonds, and IAG opted to settle those conversions in cash rather than shares, as announced on July 16.
