Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) unveiled the fifth-generation Tucson SUV, the model's first full redesign in six years, according to a company statement.
The new Tucson will be available in gasoline and hybrid variants and features the company's Pleos Connect infotainment system, along with upgraded safety and driver-assistance features.
Hyundai plans to disclose pricing in October before starting domestic sales.
The launch comes days after the South Korean automaker reported that its August domestic sales plunged 41% to 34,333 units from a year earlier.
Shares of Hyundai Motor fell over 1% in recent trade.
