Hyundai Rotem Wins KRW344.5 Billion Taoyuan Brown Line E&M Supply Project in Taiwan

Hyundai Rotem (KRX:064350) secured the Taoyuan Brown Line E&M supply project in Taiwan from the Taoyuan City Government Department of Rapid Transit Systems, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.

The project will be carried out through a consortium with ST Engineering Urban Solutions. Hyundai Rotem's share of the consortium project is valued at TW$7.40 billion and 13.77 million euros, out of a total project value of TW$26.39 billion and 90.02 million euros, the filing said.

The contract, valued at 344.50 billion won, is valid till Oct. 4, 2034.

Shares of Hyundai Rotem fell 1% at market close.

Carimin Petroleum Raises Stake in Sealink International to 25.3%

Carimin Petroleum (KLSE:CARIMIN) acquired a 5.8% stake in Sealink International (KLSE:SEALINK) for 9.9 million ringgit in cash, according to a Tuesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The acquisition involved 29.1 million shares bought at 0.34 ringgit each, between Sept. 18 and Sept. 22.Following the acquisition, Carimin's stake in Sealink rose to 25.3% from 19.5%, making Sealink an associate company.Carimin Petroleum said the acquisition was part of its ongoing investment strategy.The deal was funded through internally generated funds and does not require shareholder or regulatory approval, the filing said.
