Hyundai Rotem Confirms Iraq's Interest in K2 Tank but No Deal Finalized

Hyundai Rotem (KRX:064350) confirmed it is engaging in sales activities with multiple countries, including Iraq, to expand its defense export markets and explore K2 tank opportunities, following a media report.

The company said, however, that no specific details regarding a potential deal with Iraq have been confirmed at this time, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

This disclosure marks the company's fourth response on the matter, following previous undetermined announcements in September, October, and January.

Hyundai Rotem added that it will issue a further update once matters are confirmed or within six months.
