Hyundai Rotem (KRX:064350) has signed an agreement with Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) to apply the latter's smart factory technology to its aerospace production facility, according to a company release on Tuesday.
The companies will collaborate on introducing automated systems at Hyundai Rotem's aerospace plant to improve workplace safety and production quality.
Hyundai Motor's AI‑based smart factory technology will be applied in critical stages of the aerospace manufacturing process.
