Hyundai Motor Suspends Operations Amid Partial Strike

Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) has suspended operations in its Ulsan plant and other business sites due to a partial strike, according to a Monday filing.

Segments impacted by the production suspension include automobile manufacturing, maintenance, and sales.

The suspension of work will last until Wednesday, affecting two shifts of two hours each.

The pause in production will impact sales equivalent to about 78.767 trillion won, the company said.

Shares of the company were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
