Hyundai Motor India (NSE:HYUNDAI, BOM:544274) plans to raise vehicle prices by up to 1% across its portfolio from September, according to a Wednesday exchange filing.
The price increase will vary by model and variant and reflects higher input and commodity costs, increased operating expenses, and ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties.
The company said it continues to absorb part of the cost increases through cost optimization, but persistent pressures have prompted the price revision.
