Hyundai Engineering & Construction Wins KRW882.8 Billion Housing Redevelopment Order in Busan

Hyundai Engineering & Construction (KRX:000720) has received an 882.8 billion won construction order for the Gamcheon 2 Housing Redevelopment Project from the Gamcheon 2 Housing Redevelopment Association.

The contract represents 2.84% of the company's consolidated sales of 31.1 trillion won for fiscal year 2025, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The project covers the construction of 21 residential buildings and ancillary facilities with seven basement levels and 33 above-ground levels at 94-1, Gamcheon-dong, Saha-gu, Busan.

The contract period spans 49 months from the actual start of construction, excluding the demolition period, with payment to be claimed and paid according to construction progress.

The effective date of the order receipt was Sept. 22, though the construction period and contract amount may change depending on the conditions specified in the construction contract.
