Huntington Ingalls Division Wins Task Order to Develop Airdrop, Combat Feeding Technologies for US Army

Huntington Ingalls Industries' (HII) Mission Technologies division said Tuesday that it won a five-year task order to develop airdrop and combat feeding techniques for the US Army.

Under the task order, the company said it will work on new cargo and personnel airdrop technologies for aerial delivery systems across manned and unmanned aircraft.

The task order is part of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract, run by the Defense Technical Information Center for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center, according to a statement.

Financial terms of the task order were not disclosed.

Huntington Ingalls shares were down 2.3% in Tuesday trading.

Contineum Therapeutics (CTNM) said late Monday the phase 2 MOONLIGHT-1 trial of JNJ-5120/PIPE-307 for the treatment of major depressive disorder did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint.JNJ-5120/PIPE-307 is being developed by Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) under a global license and development agreement, the company noted.The study evaluated improvement from baseline in the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale total score at Day 5 compared with placebo, the company said, adding that the treatment was well tolerated and showed no new safety signals.Johnson & Johnson is continuing to review the trial data, including prespecified exploratory endpoints, to determine next steps for the program, according to a statement.
