Hunting plc Posts Higher H1 Profit; Revenue Down

Hunting plc (HTG.L) said Friday its attributable profit for the first half increased, while revenue decreased year over year.

Profit attributable to owners of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was $23.6 million, compared with $20.2 million earlier. EPS moved to $0.150 from $0.121.

The British precision engineering group's revenue was $497 million, compared with $528.6 million a year ago.

Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of $0.070 per share for the period, payable Oct. 30 to shareholders on record Oct. 2. It paid $0.062 per share in the year-ago period.

Yemen's Houthis Claim Drone Strike on Saudi Aramco Facility

Yemen's Houthis said they conducted two drone strikes targeting Saudi Arabian Oil Co's (SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco's, facility in Najran and the Najran airport.The Iran-aligned ​group's ​military ⁠spokesperson Yahya ​Saree said in a Telegram post on Thursday that the attacks were in retaliation for Saudi Arabia's alleged violation of Saada's airspace with its drones.Aramco did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
