Hunan Gold (SHE:002155) said the plan to fully acquire Hunan Gold Tianyue Mining and Hunan Zhongnan Gold Smelting is in progress, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Thursday.
The company plans to raise funds for the acquisition through share placement, which the board of directors approved in January.
The gold miner's shares fell 2% at the close.
