Hunan Gold (SHE:002155) said its unit, Gansu Chenzhou Mineral Development, raised its registered capital to 183.9 million yuan after the completion of a merger with another unit, according to a Wednesday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.
Gansu Chenzhou merged with and absorbed Gansu Jiaxin Mining, with the former taking over all of Gansu Jiaxin assets and liabities, as well as other rights.
Hunan Gold retained its 80% equity interest in Gansu Chenzhou after the transaction.
The gold miner's shares rose nearly 4% at the close.
