Huaibei Mining (SHA:600985) started the commercial operation of two ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation units, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
Huaibei Juneng Power Generation, the company's subsidiary, constructed the units, each with a capacity of 660 megawatts.
The units, which are located in Lieshan District, Huaibei City, Anhui Province, China, completed their 168-hour full-load trial operation.
The mining company's shares dropped 3% at the close.
