Hua Hong Semiconductor's (HKG:1347, SHA:688347) attributable profit surged 458% to $20.9 million in the first quarter of 2026 from $3.8 million a year prior, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Earnings per share were $0.012, up from $0.002 in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Revenue climbed 22% to $660.9 million from $540.9 million in the year-ago period, driven mainly by a rise in wafer shipments and an improved average selling price.
The semiconductor firm expects a revenue of between $690 million and $700 million for the second quarter of 2026.
