HS Optimus (SGX:504) completed the acquisition of a 30% stake in Medicorp and issued 185.2 million shares to the seller, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the door manufacturer surged nearly 17% in Tuesday trading.
The new shares are expected to be listed and quoted on or around July 22.
Earlier, the company had agreed to acquire a 30% stake in Medicorp from Lee Rui Ren for SG$4.2 million.
Aedge Group's (SGX:XVG) subsidiary, IPF Investments, exercised an option to acquire a freehold property in Singapore for SG$7.5 million, according to a Monday bourse filing.The property has a land area of around 297.4 square meters and is currently tenanted at a monthly rent of SG$20,000.The acquisition will be funded through a combination of internal resources and bank borrowings and is expected to be completed on or before Oct. 13.
