Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) said it received near-surface copper-gold drilling results, supporting the integration of the La Verde discovery into the Costa Fuego copper-gold project in Chile, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It hit intercepts of 398 meters grading 0.5% of copper-equivalent, including 0.4% grade of copper, 0.12 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from surface, 132 meters grading 0.6% grade of copper-equivalent, including 0.5% grade of copper, 0.16 g/t grade of gold, from 24 meters, as well as 126 meters grading 0.5% grade of copper-equivalent, including 0.4% grade of copper, 0.08 g/t grade of gold, from 54 meters.
The company's shares rose nearly 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
