Hoshizaki (TYO:6465) posted a 1.6% year-over-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 22.3 billion yen for the six months ended June 30 from 21.9 billion yen.
The machine industry company's basic earnings per share increased to 159.04 yen from 155.17 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
Net sales climbed about 15% to 273.7 billion yen from 238.5 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, the company forecasts an attributable profit of 38.2 billion yen, EPS of 274.20 yen, and net sales of 520 billion yen.
The company plans to pay a fiscal year-end dividend of 60 yen per share.
