Horizon Robotics (HKG:9660) expects to post net profit of 3.50 billion yuan to 4.00 billion yuan for the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of 5.23 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The AI chipmaker attributed the expected profit mainly to a fair value gain on a convertible loan issued to CARIAD following movements in its share price.
Revenue from continuing operations is expected to be in the range of 1.93 billion yuan to 2.08 billion yuan compared with 1.55 billion yuan, driven by growth in both its product solutions and licenses and services businesses.
Shares of the company rose over 4% in recent trade.
