Hong Kong stocks opened lower on Tuesday as the expiry of a U.S.-Iran truce revived concerns over oil supplies and inflation.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.3%, or 84.36 points, to 25,368.87, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped 0.3%, or 24.59 points, to 8,415.38.
Asian markets were mixed as investors reacted to Tehran's shift toward a "fully offensive" military posture after the truce expired.
Wall Street ended lower overnight, with the S&P 500 falling 0.5% and the Nasdaq losing 0.3%, as renewed Middle East tensions offset softer U.S. economic data.
