Hong Kong stocks opened lower on Friday, tracking weakness on Wall Street despite Nvidia's bullish outlook.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.6% to 25,410.46, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped 0.8% to 8,425.71.
U.S. stocks ended higher on Thursday, led by technology shares after Nvidia forecast roughly 70% revenue growth for its fiscal year ending in January 2028.
Investors are now turning their attention to Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole symposium for clues about the interest rate outlook.
