Hong Kong Stocks Open Higher as Wall Street Rally Boosts Sentiment

By

Hong Kong stocks opened higher on Friday as a rebound in global equities and easing U.S. Treasury yields supported investor sentiment.

The Hang Seng Index rose 0.5%, or 119.56 points, to open at 24,723.85, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 0.3%, or 27.42 points, to 8,202.78.

U.S. stocks rallied on Thursday, breaking a three-session losing streak.
