Hon Hai Precision (TPE:2317) unit Q-Edge agreed to acquire land and a factory in Santa Clara, California, for $55.3 million, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The property, spanning 110,083 square feet, will be purchased from GVII-LPC Stender Owner.
The acquisition is intended for operational needs.

Lakala Payment (SHE:300773) has decided to terminate its proposed secondary listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Exchange, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The digital payment service provider initially approved the overseas listing plans in August and September 2025.However, due to changes in the market environment and adjustments to its plans, the board voted at a meeting on Tuesday to scrap the plan.
