Hon Hai Precision Industry's Asia Bay Supercomputing Launches 5MW AI Cluster on Nvidia HGX B300

Hon Hai Precision Industry (TPE:2317) unit, Asia Bay Supercomputing, launched its first 5MW cluster built using the Nvidia HGX B 300 system, according to a Friday press release.

The cluster uses a water-cooled 2N high-availability architecture and Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBank network to support large-scale model training and inference.

It has already signed two long-term lease contracts with its first batch of customers and is in commercial operation, reporting over 90% utilization.

The cluster has also secured Nvidia's Exemplar Cloud validation for HGX B300 training workloads, which validates its Tokenized AI Factory.

Xinyi Glass' Profit Climbs 17% in H1

Xinyi Glass (HKG:0868) recorded a 17% rise in attributable profit to 1.19 billion yuan for the first half of 2026 from 1.01 billion yuan a year prior.Earnings per share rose to 0.2672 yuan from 0.2325 previously, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.Revenue declined 3.1% to 9.52 billion yuan from 9.82 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a drop in the average selling prices of float glass products.The glass manufacturing company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.15 per share for the period, payable on or around Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 19.
