Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKG:0388) will temporarily extend the validity period for eligible new listing applications to 12 months from six months, according to a press release on Friday.
The measure will take effect from Aug. 21 and remain in place for three years, through Aug. 20, 2029. It is intended to give applicants greater flexibility in managing listing timelines and to reduce the need to refile applications.
The exchange said that regulatory standards and investor protection safeguards will remain unchanged, and applicants will still be required to provide complete and up-to-date business and financial information.
