HJ Shipbuilding & Construction Lands KRW104.4 Billion Road Construction Project

HJ Shipbuilding & Construction (KRX:097230) has secured a 104.4 billion won construction contract for the Second Gyeongchun National Highway project in Gyeonggi Province.

Shares of the company declined over 3% in late-morning trade Wedensday.

The deal, representing 5.22% of its latest annual revenue, was awarded by the Public Procurement Service and includes advance and progress payments.

Work will cover a section of roadway from Gapyeong-gun to Chuncheon-si, and runs from August 2026 through August 2033, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
