Charter Communications (CHTR) reported first-quarter earnings below Wall Street's estimates as revenue declined annually, driven by weakness in the residential video and Internet segments.Earnings for the quarter rose to $9.17 per share from $8.42 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $9.96. Revenue declined 1% to $13.6 billion, compared with the Street's $13.55 billion view.Charter's shares plunged 20% in Friday trading.
