Hisense Home Sells Thailand Industrial Land for 433 Million Baht

By

Hisense Home Appliances (HKG:0921, SHE:000921) agreed to sell a 98,890-square-meter parcel of land in Thailand to LigentComm for 432.6 million baht, according to an exchange filing.

The vacant land is located in Amata Estate and forms part of a larger industrial site Hisense acquired in 2024 for the group's manufacturing operations in Thailand.

Hisense expects to record an accounting gain of about 121.3 million baht from the disposal, subject to the final surveyed area and transaction costs.

The appliance maker said the sale will monetize idle land and generate cash for working capital.

LigentComm is a subsidiary of IPO-hopeful Ligent Technologies (HKG:9856), in which Hisense Holdings, the parent of Hisense Home Appliances, holds a nearly 49% stake.
