Hisense-Controlled Ligent Nets HK$5.4 Billion in Hong Kong IPO

Ligent Technologies (HKG:9856) is set to receive HK$5.4 billion in net proceeds from its initial public offering in Hong Kong after pricing the shares at the offer price.

The Hisense-controlled optical communication products maker offered over 172 million shares at HK$32.96 apiece, according to a Monday filing with the bourse.

The Hong Kong public offering was 35.16 times subscribed, with 17.2 million shares allocated, while the international offering was 4.67 times subscribed, with 154.8 million shares allocated.

Cornerstone investors were allotted 80.9 million shares, representing 47.02% of the IPO shares.

Ligent is set to debut on the HKEX on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
