Hindustan Aeronautics (NSE:HAL, BOM:541154) reported an increase in its consolidated attributable profit to 42.0 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 39.8 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 62.74 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 59.46 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 139.4 billion rupees from 137.0 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
