Hiap Seng Industries Fiscal H2 Profit Falls to SG$1.6 Million

Hiap Seng Industries (SGX:1L2) attributable profit to equity holders fell to SG$1.6 million in the fiscal second half ended March 31 from SG$2.1 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share came in at SG$0.0003 compared with SG$0.001 in the year-ago period.

The construction engineering company's revenue jumped 31% year over year to SG$13.4 million from SG$10.2 million.

The company declared a final dividend of SG$0.0002 per share.

Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower (SHA:600025) completed the issuance of two green bonds, according to a Saturday filing on the Shanghai bourse.The company issued its sixth green super short-term commercial paper worth 1.4 billion yuan, with a coupon rate of 1.37% and a term of 168 days.The company also issued its seventh green medium-term bond for the year, which amounted to 1.6 billion yuan. It has a term of three years and a coupon rate of 1.55%.The hydropower company's shares rose 1% during Monday's morning trade.

Old Chang Kee's Profit Slides 12% in Fiscal H2

Old Chang Kee's (SGX:5ML) profit for the fiscal second half ended March 31 fell by 12% to SG$4.5 million from SG$5.1 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.0374 compared with SG$0.0422 in the year-ago period.The food and beverage company's revenue inched up 2.8% year over year to SG$51.5 million from SG$50.1 million.
