Hengtong Optic-Electric's (SHA:600487) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half jumped 93% to 3.12 billion yuan from 1.61 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
Earnings per share nearly doubled year on year to 1.29 yuan from 0.66 yuan.
Operating revenue rose 31% to approximately 42 billion yuan from 32 billion yuan in the preceding year.

Lakala Payment (SHE:300773) has decided to terminate its proposed secondary listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Exchange, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The digital payment service provider initially approved the overseas listing plans in August and September 2025.However, due to changes in the market environment and adjustments to its plans, the board voted at a meeting on Tuesday to scrap the plan.
