Hengtong Optic-Electric (SHA:600487) called on creditors to file their claims from the company amid plans to repurchase shares, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The Chinese fiber-optic cable manufacturer proposed to buy back 33,000 restricted shares, which were granted to two incentive participants, who resigned.
Creditors are allowed to ask the company to repay its debts within 45 days of the publication of the disclosure.
