HD Hyundai Marine Engine Secures Marine Engine Supply Contract

HD Hyundai Marine Engine (KRX:071970) secured a marine engine supply contract worth 24.8 billion won from a Chinese shipbuilding company, Xiamen XMXYG Shipbuilding Trading, according to a company filing with the Korean Exchange on Friday.

Project payments are tied to the engine supply and delivery schedule, with the contract slated for completion by April 12, 2029.

Shares of the company fell nearly 3% in recent trading.

Acme International Signs Solar Framework Deal With LONGi for Southeast Asia, Oceania

Acme International's (HKG:1870) wholly owned subsidiary, Green Global Development, has entered into a non-binding cooperation framework agreement with LONGi Solar Technology to develop green power projects in Southeast Asia and Oceania, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.Shares of the building maintenance provider were down more than 2% in Friday morning trade.The cooperation covers investment, construction, operation, and product supply for solar and energy storage projects across New Zealand, Australia, and Pacific Island nations.The parties are targeting more than 300MW of solar capacity and more than 60MW/240 MWh of energy storage under the arrangement.

GP Industries Attributable Profit Jumps 23% in Fiscal H2

GP Industries (SGX:G20) attributable profit to equity holders jumped 23% during fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$12.1 million from SG$9.8 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the industrial and consumer products company were up nearly 1% in Friday trading.Earnings per share rose to SG$0.0239 compared with SG$0.0191 in the year-ago period.Revenue inched up 0.8% year over year to SG$538.5 million from SG$534.2 million.The directors proposed a final dividend of SG$0.0175 per share, taking the total dividend for fiscal 2026 to SG$0.035 per share.
