Hanwha Ocean (KRX:042660) secured a 477.8 billion won contract for three very large gas carriers from an Oceania-based shipper, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The contract is valid till Dec. 6, 2030, with payments to be made based on construction progress.
Shares of the Korean shipbuilder fell 2% in recent trade.
