Hankyu Hanshin's (TYO:9042) profit attributable to owners of parent increased 7.6% to 36.8 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 from 34.2 billion yen a year earlier.
The transport company's diluted earnings per share rose to 156.10 yen from 143.38 yen a year ago, according to a Friday Japan Exchange filing.
Operating revenues increased 9.5% to 339 billion yen from 309.8 billion yen a year earlier.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, Hankyu Hanshin projects profit attributable to owners of parent of 79 billion yen, or 340.04 yen per share, with operating revenues of 1.27 trillion yen.
The company expects to pay a year-end dividend of 50 yen per share, bringing the full-year dividend to 100 yen per share.
