Hankook & Company (KRX:000240) said it has resumed full production of all automotive lead-acid batteries at its Daejeon plant following the fire accident containment and maintenance at the plant, according to a Friday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The company said that the resumed production was valued at 457.8 billion won based on 2025 annual consolidated results and represents 31.41% of its 2025 sales.
The production suspension stood between Aug. 25 and Sept. 4.
