Hankook & Company (KRX:000240) has suspended all automotive lead-acid battery production at its Daejeon plant following a fire in the manufacturing process on Tuesday.
The suspension affects sales of approximately 457.8 billion won, representing 31.41% of the company's consolidated revenue for the latest fiscal year, according to a South Korean bourse filing on Thursday.
The company said it will disclose further updates on the resumption timeline.
Shares of Hankook & Company fell over 1% in recent trade.
