Hangzhou Lion Electronics (SHA:605358) will invest about 3 billion yuan to construct a semiconductor silicon wafer facility for the Nanhu District government in Jiaxing City, China, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Construction is slated to take place over five years, with subsidiary Jinruihong Angxin Microelectronics (Jiaxing) in charge of construction.
The project will have a monthly capacity of 200,000 12-inch lightly doped substrate wafers and 12-inch silicon epitaxial wafers.
