Halliburton (HAL) won integrated drilling and completions contracts for the GranMorgu deepwater development offshore Suriname, operated by TotalEnergies (TTE), the company said Monday.
The long-term contract covers drilling and completions services, with Halliburton using integrated digital and automation technologies to improve well construction efficiency, well placement accuracy and reduce costs.
The project includes investments in local infrastructure, including upgrades to Halliburton's liquid mud and cement plant and construction of Suriname's first drilling and completions workshop, the company added.
Halliburton shares were up 3% in Monday trading.
