Haemonetics (HAE) shares were up more than 17% in afternoon trading on Tuesday after the company said it entered into a supply agreement with CSL Plasma last week.
The deal involves Haemonetics' NexSys PCS plasma collection system with Persona Plus Technology, an automated cell separator system, along with related disposables in the US, according to a Tuesday filing.
CSL is expected to transition a portion of its US plasma collection centers to Haemonetics' devices and disposables, but the scope and timing of the implementation are still to be determined, the company said.
