The Hachijuni Bank (TYO:8359) recorded a 44% rise in attributable profit in the first fiscal quarter to 23.7 billion yen from 16.4 billion yen a year prior.
Earnings per share increased to 51.96 yen from 35.60 yen previously, according to a Friday Tokyo bourse filing.
The lender's ordinary income jumped 25% to 90.6 billion yen from 72.6 billion yen in the year-ago period.
The company expects attributable profit of 73 billion yen, basic EPS of 160.21 yen, and total dividend of 65 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
