Guotai Haitong Securities (SHA:601211, HKG:2611) reported a 28.7% year-over-year jump in attributable net profit for the first half to 20.3 billion yuan from 15.7 billion yuan, according to a filing with the Hong Kong bourse on Wednesday.
Diluted earnings per share rose to 1.14 yuan from 1.11 yuan.
Total revenue and other income for the period jumped 47.2% to 66.9 billion yuan from 45.4 billion yuan.
The securities and brokerage company declared an interim dividend of 3 yuan for every 10 shares. The dividend will be paid to the holders of H Shares on Oct. 16.
