A unit of Guming (HKG:1364) is proposing an international bond offering, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The issuer will issue HK Dollar-denominated convertible bonds, which will be guaranteed by Chinese teahouse chain Guming, to professional investors outside the U.S.
The company will use proceeds mainly to expand overseas, procure raw materials and equipment, repurchase shares, and for general corporate purposes.
The terms and conditions of the bonds are yet to be finalized.
