Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP.L) said Monday it increased the production at its Shaikan field operations in Iraq to 43,000 barrels of oil per day after resuming operations on June 24.
The UK-listed Iraqi oil and gas company noted that well activities at the oil field are underway to boost production in the coming weeks, while it monitors the security situation in the region.
Gulf Keystone said it is in talks with the Ministry of Natural Resources on a revised development plan for the field.
