Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical Reports Positive CKBA Cream Trial Results

Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical (SHE:301263) said its Phase IIa clinical trial for CKBA Cream in treating papulopustular rosacea has completed enrollment of all 15 subjects, with positive preliminary data prompting early initiation of Phase IIb.

The trial showed significant inflammatory lesion reduction after eight weeks and no serious adverse reactions, according to a Monday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Shares of the drugmaker rose 1% in recent trade.
