GSK (GSK) said Friday its licensor, Hansoh Pharmaceutical, reported the phase 3 Artemis-008 trial of risvutatug rezetecan met its primary overall survival endpoint in Chinese patients with advanced or relapsed small-cell lung cancer.
The study showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in overall survival versus topotecan, with benefits also observed across key secondary endpoints, including progression-free survival.
The results mark the first positive phase 3 overall survival data for a B7-H3-targeted antibody-drug conjugate in any tumor type and support the continued global development of Ris-Rez outside Greater China, GSK said.
GSK shares were up 1% in Friday premarket trading.
