GreenX Metals (ASX:GRX) established an exploration target for the Tannenberg copper project in Germany, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The conceptual target stands at 144 million tonnes to 279 million tonnes at 0.9% to 1.4% grade of copper and 15 grams per tonne to 21 g/t grade of silver for 1.3 million tonnes to 3.9 million tonnes of copper and 69 million ounces to 188 million ounces of silver,
The target captures mineralization in the hanging wall above and footwall below the Kupferschiefer shale horizon. An initial drill program is expected to commence late in the year.
The firm plans to conduct mineral and desktop metallurgical analysis of material collected from the archive core in the June quarter. It will also access historical underground mines for scoping study-level metallurgical test work, chip sampling, mapping, and surveying, per the filing.
