Green Cross Health Exits Medical Division in NZ$270 Million Deal With Tend Health

Green Cross Health (NZE:GXH) has entered into a conditional agreement to sell its medical division, The Doctors, to Tend Health for NZ$270 million, subject to adjustments for net debt and working capital, according to a Tuesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.

The Doctors runs 65 clinics across New Zealand and provides primary care to more than 400,000 enrolled patients, making it the country's largest enrolment-based general practice network, per the filing.

The transaction is subject to shareholder approval at a meeting scheduled for July, and if approved, is expected to close by the end of that month, the filing said.

The proceeds may be allocated to enhancing the company's pharmacy operations or distributed to shareholders, the filing added.
