Greatland Resources Posts Lower Production in June Quarter

Greatland Resources (ASX:GGP) posted preliminary June quarter production of 79,099 ounces of gold and 3,573 tonnes of copper, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company produced 82,723 ounces of gold and 4,128 tonnes of copper in the previous quarter, an earlier filing showed.

Sales in the June quarter were 74,648 ounces of gold and 3,531 tonnes of copper, compared with 97,800 ounces of gold and 4,620 tonnes of copper in the sequential quarter.

Full-year production totaled 328,986 ounces of gold and 14,594 tonnes of copper, while full-year sales amounted to 326,859 ounces of gold and 14,729 tonnes of copper, the filing said.

The company held AU$1.29 billion in cash at June 30, up from AU$1.21 billion as of March 31, with no debt, the filing added.

AEON Stores (Hong Kong) (HKG:0984) unit AEON (Guangdong) agreed to lease various shops in Yifa Commercial Centre in Guangdong Province, China, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.The company will lease the premises for 10 years starting Oct. 31 under an agreement with landlord Guangzhou City Yisheng Commercial Investment and property owner Guangzhou City Yingtai Properties.AEON (Guangdong) will use the premises to operate its retail business, the department store operator said.
