Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) said ongoing growth drilling and geological interpretation at its Comet Vale gold project in Western Australia have significantly expanded the high-grade footwall system at the Sovereign deposit, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 2.8 meters at 31 grams per tonne gold from 379.1 meters and 0.6 meters at 86.2 g/t gold from 99.4 meters.
Drilling continues across the North Kalgoorlie Hub targeting resource growth across multiple prospects, with drilling also recommenced at the Vivien Project in Western Australia, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 3% in recent Thursday trade.
